Not to keep going on about it, but I read a few blogs about being parents and hisboyscanswim.com is often good for a laugh. The parents are really honest and open, and while I don’t agree with everything they say sometimes its good to know I’m not the only one thinking about it!
Today’s entry from the mother I feel is sort of what I was getting at before… taking time to be me not just a mum. She goes further than that and says we need to take time to be husband and wife not just mum and dad, which is also very true!
I’m not the type of person to go out drinking, but the rest of her post is worth reading!
do you guys have ‘date night’ ? we are supposed to be doing a monthly ‘date night’ but feb was a bit too short… joels parents look after zoe for one day/night a month-ish. we usually go to the movies cos thats the one thing we can’t ALL do as a family. i usually miss her heaps and get bored quickly and come home early but hey!
