Week 6
12 Feb
This week flew by… way too fast. It ended on a lowish note, Friday saw me come down with a cold… but I’m doing ok now!
Here is my week in review:
God: Acts is going ok, but I’m finding it harder than Luke… Jesus had a lot to say in Luke, with lots of stories, but Acts is focused after Jesus was crucified and risen again. There is lots in there, but it’s not jumping out as easily!
Husband: Valentine’s Day is coming up, so I spent the week deciding what I will be doing… hopefully it will all work! Mr Wonderful has actually been doing more for me this week, with being sick he took over complete parenting responsibility yesterday, I stayed in bed till 10:30am and then blobbed on the couch while he took care of Miss D! I am so very very thankful for him taking care of me like that!
Miss Delightful: Miss D has had a fun week… it’s been a big one though. Playgroup started up on Tuesday, she had Kindy on Wednesday followed by a Kindy Family Picnic dinner, and Music as well. All this meant that by Friday she was shattered and had an afternoon sleep!
The picnic was wonderful, Miss D had a great time playing in the water with one of her friends. She slept really well that night!

Friends: We caught up with a few friends this week, and got to go to a BBQ tonight with some church friends. We are so blessed to have lots of amazing friends.
Eating: This week has been ok for eating, I don’t think we tried any new meals.. in fact I think we used quite a few freezer meals to keep the grocery bill down. I haven’t had any stomach pains so we must be keeping to a lower fat diet!
Exercise: I have completed week 3 of my Ease into 5kms! I didn’t think I was going to make it, my last run was Friday and I wasn’t feeling so great. But I had a friend join me, and she kept me going! I am now running more than I am walking when I go out! I got out for 3 runs this week, but no bike ride… so I travelled 9kms of my 15km. BUT Miss D and I did walk to both Playgroup and Music, which is about a 25 minute walk each way. So if I added that on to my total I think I would be past the 15km mark!
Creative: This week was a bit lacking for creative stuff… I think I sorted out my fabric, and got a few activities printed for Miss D to play around with. I am also busy knitting in my role as a test knitter!
So that was my week… hopefully this cold will disappear completely very soon and I’ll be back to 100% health!
I hope you all have a wonderful week and a don’t forget to tell someone how special they are on Tuesday!
