Valentine’s Day for the husband
15 Feb
As you all know yesterday was Valentine’s Day. In our house we don’t go crazy, we don’t generally do much actually. But Mr Wonderful has been amazing this year, helping me achieve some of my goals. So I decided to treat him. And it didn’t cost much either! (note: please excuse the quality of some of the photos… they were fine on my phone, but when I imported them something went wrong! About 50 of my photos have turned out this way!)
On Monday night when he got home from work this was taped to the door:

Thankfully he said “yes” to my question! I had a shot at being his Valentine :)
On Tuesday morning I gave him this before he left for work:

Miss Delightful and I baked these for dessert as our afternoon activity too!
And I sent him to work with these packages, and instructions to open then at the correct times:

I didn’t take a photo of each thing before I wrapped it… opps! the first one was some chewing gum with a note saying “I chews you”, the second was a block of chocolate saying “I love you more than chocolate, and that is a lot!”, the third was a red energy drink that said “Love potion no 9″, the forth was 2 soft balls that said “you make my heart bounce” and the last one were heart shaped chocolates that said “I heart you”.
Then when he got home from work Miss D and I had cooked a roast chicken dinner, set the table nicely and these guys were waiting for him:

And the final part was given after dinner. He got this little box:

Inside it was a love coupon book filled with date’s, ideas, etc for him to use in the future:

To finish off the date once Miss D was in bed we watched “Valentine’s Day”! Cheesy… yes, but it was fun to shower him with gifts for once! Oh and I got some gorgeous earrings out of the day too :)
I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

Wow!! That is amazing! I’m sure the big challenge will be how to top that next year?! :)
