This is what we woke up to the other day! Miss Delightful had collected some of her “friends” and set them up next to her in a line and was reading them stories! From our bedroom we could hear her chatting away to them, telling them all about the pictures in the books!

Love her!

I just dropped Miss Delightful off at her last day of Kindy for the year! She was all excited about going, until we walked in the door! Sadly she will be saying goodbye to these teachers as she will be starting at a new Kindy next year. But we are excited about the new one, it was our first choice, closer to home and half the price!

So to say Thank You to the teachers for looking after her we made them some gingerbread men.

Miss D was a wonderful helper, she cut all the men out:

And she was in charge of putting the M & M’s on when we iced them. Then we packaged them up and she wrote her name on them, with only a little bit of help from me!

She was so excited to give them to her teachers. Now I’m off to get a few jobs done while I am child free!

Miss Delightful was being a goofball at the supermarket the other day. She was wearing her sunglasses in the car and decided she wanted to wear them on her head “just like Mummy”! Oh how I love her!

The other day my cutie stole my glasses… and decided she was going to wear them!

Hopefully she wont need to wear any of her own for a few more years!

This weekend some friends of ours moved house and decided that they no longer needed their daughters outdoor playhouse. So they very kindly offered it to Miss Delightful!

We had to dismantle it to get it through the gate, so we spent the afternoon putting it back together. She hasn’t had a play in it yet but I imagine she will have hours of fun! And I’m going to see if we can maybe even give it a fresh coat of paint!

This afternoon we set up Miss Delightful’s big girl bed! We didn’t intend for her to sleep in it, we just set it up so she could get used to the idea. She was so excited about it all that she decided when she was in the bath that she was definitely going to sleep in it tonight!

Here she is all snuggled up! She has now been in bed for just under an hour and we haven’t seen or heard from her! Mr Wonderful did go and check on her a little while ago and she was still awake but just lying there.

We have our fingers crossed that she falls asleep and stays asleep tonight. But the cot is there if she needs to go back!
